01What brought me here

Mirell Reyes

I have spent much of my life moving—from Germany to Monaco to Miami, through careers, relationships, motherhood, friendship, loss and success.

For twenty-six years, work was a major part of that story. I became very good at building businesses and leading people, but I never stopped looking for where I belonged.

Music was one of the first places I found it. So were stories, and the dreams I had as a child.

Over time, I learned that a life can look successful from the outside and still feel like you are standing outside of it. This is where the story of I Thought This Was Success begins.

02Travel Stories Memories

3 words that connect one life.

Travel has always meant more to me than geography. It is movement through countries, careers, relationships, choices and the unexpected turns that change where life takes us.

Stories are what happen along the way—what worked, what did not, the people we met, the moments that changed us, and what we understand differently once enough time has passed.

Memories are what stay. A person. A place. A photograph. A song. Sometimes they bring back a part of ourselves we had almost forgotten.

Together, those three words became a way to hold the different parts of a life in one place.

03My work

Built from within.

My career took me across Europe, North America and Latin America, including more than a decade in CEO and President roles. I built businesses from the ground up, doubling sales targets within the first years of operation, and led established organizations through growth and change.

The work was never neatly divided into departments: a product decision affected the customer, sales depended on operations, and growth needed the right people, priorities and execution moving together. That is where my whole-business perspective came from.

TSM Strategy is built on what I learned inside businesses: how the pieces connect.

04What comes next

Now What?

Travel Stories Memories is where the personal story, the music, the work and the conversations come together. The book tells one part of it, music carries another, TSM Strategy puts that experience to work for other leaders, and speaking turns it into conversations.

I am not starting over, and I am not rejecting the life I built before. I am using everything I have lived, learned, built, lost and carried to create a life that finally feels like my own.

And if Travel Stories Memories can leave an impression of increase on everyone who finds their way here, I will know I am building something that matters.
